I was lucky enough to be brought up between Almeria, Spain and London. Continuing the Spanish theme, I did a BA in Iberian & Latin American studies and began my working life here in Spain working on the layout and design for a local newspaper.
However, film had always been a great passion and I happened to be living near one of the most fantastic locations in Europe - the badlands of Tabernas, where films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy had been shot. I had my first break on an Indiana Jones production, and from there went on to work as a location manager.
Curious about the mysterious process that took place between filming and the eventual release of a production, I went on to study editing, training on Avid. I worked primarily on independent documentaries before moving to Brussels to work on various projects for the EU.
More recently I relocated to southern Spain in order to devote more time to my family. Often my work would take me away for weeks at a time so I decided to look for a way to continue making films but in a less pressured environment. I have been lucky enough to join forces with a great professional, as well as an old friend, Scott del Amo. I'm extremely fortunate to live where I do and still be able to continue to travel for work in an exacting and challenging field; wedding videos.
I began my film and TV career the old fashioned way; I studied at Guilford Art College and received a BA with distinction in film and animation before going on to work on feature films and television. Later I went back to studying, this time a Master of Arts at the Royal College of Art where I made an award winning film. Afterwards I worked in the Art department on major feature films before moving on to produce documentaries for the BBC and various ITV television companies.
On moving to Spain, I decided that I wanted to keep on making films and to devote my talents to producing high quality wedding videos. I bring with me my wealth of experience in the world of television, particularly documentaries, and aim to produce wedding videos that will stand the test of time - films that will be enjoyed in the years to come.
